The National Economist is a blog intended to explore the current trends and events in finance, economics, public policy, sociology and psychology. At times, we will also make forecasts related to theses events and trends.

The humble beginnings of this blog were on May 7th, 2010, but it's participants have been entrenched in the subject matter for years.
